Yokosuka/Yokohama - Day 6

The kids and I finished up some last minute shopping and Grant worked a half day on Friday and then we headed to Yokohama. Yokohama is about a 45 minute train ride from Yokosuka and it is one of the most western places in Japan. I was so excited!!

This a huge Ferris wheel in Yokohama. I took this from the train station. We would go there later in the night!

Anpanman Children's Museum. Unfortunately the museum was closed but all of the store there were open. It was like walking into a mini Disneyland area. Very neat! We will definitely have to go back there!

Inside the main store. Ben thought it was really cool.

Playing in the store play area.

We met Hoss at Landmark Tower / Queen's Square - a very western mall!! Landmark Tower is the tallest building in Japan!

They had a Wendy's in there! Unfortunately that is not where we ate. Maybe next time...

Dinner at Garlic Joe's.

This is the first drink I have had in a looooonnnnggg time. After about two sips I was definitely enjoying my night even more!

Hoss and Piper

The Ferris wheel!! The Ferris wheel is located inside an amusement area called Cosmo World. The Ferris wheel is called Cosmo Clock and when it was built in 1989 it was the largest Ferris wheel and clock in the world!

How about some Hamburg and Desart

Ben, Grant and Hoss went on the Ferris Wheel!

Ben thought it was pretty cool.

The train ride back to Yokosuka. Our train was filled to the max with business people going home from work. It was so crowded and steamy that I thought I may throw up!
